Tintin is pronounced in Korean as «Ttaeng-Ttaeng ».
Tintin is fluent in Korean since 2002, year during which The Adventures of Tintin were first published! So far 23 out of 24 titles have been translated into Korean?Tintin isn't yet well known in Korea. There are certainly fans, and most people fail to make the connection between the character and his name (ou la marque). This exhibition should contribute to the awareness of the Tintin name and his importance to the Korean public.
