Tintin on the Moon - in MP3

At the start of the 1960s, Tintin was a true radio star. The Chaîne Parisienne, as it was called at the time, broadcast many of Tintin's adventures in the form of serials comprising of around twenty episodes each.
As unbelievable as it may seem today, these programmes had young people glued to the radio. Back in the day, there was no such thing as portable radio: the TSF (téléphonie sans fil - cordless telephony) was housed in a large piece of furniture which families kept proudly in the sitting room!
If you want to find out what these illustrious radio broadcasts sound like, Moulinsart, the INA and Radio France are bringing out an audio book in MP3 format (which can be played on a CD player): Tintin - Aventures lunaires, which comprise of the stories Objectif Lune and On a marché sur la Lune. In total the trip to the Moon makes for 6 hours 23 minutes of listening, and when the show was first broadcast, episodes were played between 17 November 1960 and 28 February 1961.
The CNES / Space Observatory have provided some scientific sound recordings which should capture the imagination of all those interested in space exploration.
