A memorable inauguration for the Hergé Museum!

Dozens of journalists from Europe, and even from as far afield as China, converged on Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) to take part in the press conference organised to present the Hergé Museum.
Some of these journalists had not been previously authorised, but still turned up to the event. While the authorised news teams had been informed in advance that it wouldn't be possible to take photos or images in the eight rooms of the museum, the other journalists who were present were clearly not aware of this restriction, which incidentally is standard in all museums worldwide!
They decided to let off steam about this to their readers and viewers; we have a free press after all. However it's a shame that some of the authorised journalists thought it best to join in with the criticism...
Despite this, everybody present thoroughly enjoyed exploring the museum. Seeing the astounding work of the architect Christian de Portzamparc, is as amazing as the first time reading one of Hergé's stories.
The presentation organised for the media was intended to celebrate the inauguration of this exceptional building. The public, who will be able to visit from 2 June, are sure to take notice. They will also be able to see the links between the architect's vision, and the diverse creations, many of which remain unknown, of a multi-talented author considered as one of the greatest of the twentieth century, by the philosopher Michel Serres.
Welcome to the Museum!
