The Paris Gazette – Musée en Herbe
The museum is being flooded with young reporters. The new Hergé exhibition is so popular that we are receiving the most visitors we have ever had, since the opening of the Musée en Herbe 40 years ago. The daily record has been broken; 4250 visitors in a single day!
Children are coming from all over, including many from the neighbourhoods of the 92nd (Hauts-de-Seine) and 93rd (Seine-Saint-Denis) departments. They immerse themselves in the world of Hergé, filling in their notebooks as they go along!
We have been inspired by the remarks being made by the children, including funny comments such as:
“Bianca Castafiore is a jeweler.”
(When asked about her job)
“When Hergé was little, he wanted to be a girl.”
(When shown a picture of Hergé dressed in girls clothes as a baby)
Every day two or three classes of children visit the exhibition and follow the journey laid out by the organisers, which revolves around Red Rackham's Treasure.
