The Tintin flea market returns to Brussels!
We first saw the famous reporter and his little dog Snowy at the flea market in 1942; he bought a model of a ship called the Unicorn... and the rest is history.
In keeping with the best old traditions, this is the fifth year that Tintin makes a return to the most popular market in the Belgian capital. On 18 July 2009, from 4.00 pm, the annual Tintin flea market will get underway.
Address: Place du Jeu de Balles, in the heart of the Marolles, not far from la rue Terre-Neuve, the street that inspired Labrador Road, Tintin's home address during the early years of his adventures.
The only market completely devoted to the world of Hergé will bring together around forty traders from many different countries, and with all these Tintin fans gathered in one place, there are always exciting discoveries to be made!
This Tintin-inspired event is being supported by RTL-TVi.
