The Adventures of Tintin: The Castafiore Emerald
The Castafiore Emerald may be atypical among Tintin adventures thanks to its placid setting, but don't let the story fool you: there is much more to it than meets the eye.
In the story Marlinspike Hall is the location for a series of misunderstandings and gags. The characters appearing in the “anti-adventure” step onto the stage in the following order: the gypsies, an opera diva and her entourage, a stonemason, some paparazzi, a brass band, a television news team, an insurance salesman, some removal men and two police detectives: a burlesque, improbable and delightful cast full of colour!
The Castafiore Emerald is now screening on Tintin TV.
