Hergé exhibition at the Royal Saltworks
Following the exhibition at the Museum of applied contemporary art in Lausanne (MUDAC), the World of Hergé exhibition is travelling to Arc-et-Senans in France.
Hergé and Tintin fans will be able to venture into the universe of the Belgian author at the exhibition, which will be held at the Royal Saltworks. Original page artwork, archive documents and unpublished works will be on display, unveiling the splendour of Hergé's art.
The exhibition also gives insight into Hergé's prolific work as a graphic designer and illustrator, beyond his work on Tintin.
Ever-concerned with historical context and as a pioneer of realism in comic strips, it is fitting that Hergé's work is on display in the historical location that is the Royal Saltworks at Arc-et-Senans.
The exhibition, hosted in partnership with the Hergé Museum in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, will take place between 8 April 2017 and 7 January 2018.
